All the artistic and cutural events take place during the summer months. This is when Taormina is the busiest and for this reason it's best to book well in advance.

June - August	A festival dedicated to music, dance and theater where famous artists from all over the world perform in the wonderful Ancient Theater. During this week you can ‘celebrity spot’ in Taormina. Visitors in past years have included Hugh Grant, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffiths, Naomi Cambell, Tom Cruise, Gerry Halliwell – the list is endless!
Taormina Film Festival
June	World famous guests, directors and script writers attend this festival which culminates in the Nastri d'Argento award ceremony.
Madonna della Rocca
September	The statue of Madonna della Rocca is house in a sactuary between Castlemola and Taormina and during the second week in september a religious procession carries the statue through the town where a large banquet is organised.
